Privacy policy

Zerodeg ("we") operates FORKLINE. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and who processes it for us. The Korean version is the governing text.

What we collect

  • Free result: name, optional Hanja name, gender, birth date, optional birth time, and birth place with its time zone (Seoul if you pick none). Used for the calculation and shown on screen only; not stored.
  • Report order: name (or nickname), optional Hanja name, email, gender, birth date, optional birth time, and birth place (city, country) with its time zone. Search terms are used only to look up the time zone; the chosen place name and time zone are stored with the order and shown in the report.
  • Payment: PayPal order and capture references, amount, and timestamps. We never receive card or PayPal account details.
  • Generated content: the saju calculation, the report text, and the PDF.
  • Technical: one essential cookie (saju_claim_<order id>, 30 days) that lets only you open your report, plus server access logs.

How we use and share it

We use your data only to calculate, write, deliver, support, and refund your report. We do not sell or share personal data for advertising.

Processors: Railway (hosting, US), Supabase (storage), OpenAI (writes the report text, US), Resend (email delivery, US), Inngest (job scheduling; order ID only), PayPal (payments). OpenAI receives your name or nickname, your Hanja name if you entered one, gender, and the calculated chart—never your email. Data sent through the OpenAI API is not used to train OpenAI models.

Retention and security

Order inputs, the report, and the PDF are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and deleted 30 days after the report is completed (30 days after creation for unpaid orders). Payment and transaction records are kept for 5 years under Korean e-commerce law. Copies in your mailbox, provider logs, and backups follow those providers' retention periods.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your data by emailing zerodeg.dev@gmail.com from the address you ordered with. We respond within 10 days. The service is for people aged 14 and over.
